About the Program
The Climate Platform program of the Contemporary Architecture Centre Foundation aims to provide a holistic response to the global climate crisis and ecological emergency as a complex natural, economic, and social phenomenon. Its goal is to enable academics, professionals, decision-makers, and citizens to understand and address these issues within their real contexts.
One of the key shortcomings of current climate-related communication is its lack of impact: many people fail to grasp the severity of the issue or recognize the connections between global climate change and ecological catastrophe in their own lives.
Our program aims to address this by providing a platform for continuous, extensive professional dialogue, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and ideas, and fostering debate among differing opinions. While platforms exist that focus on specific tasks, a comprehensive and accessible forum is currently missing. These fragmented communication initiatives fail to intersect, recognize commonalities, and foster true collaboration.
We aim to fill this gap with an interdisciplinary and holistic approach. We want to generate discourse because this is a topic that MUST be discussed!
Our goal is to introduce new forms of communication, terminology, and definitions to advance the scientific communication of climate change. The Climate Platform aspires to become a forum where climate change is communicated clearly and accessibly, offering a place for everyone dedicated to this cause to engage and contribute.
